Video library import/play function within Screvi
I would like the ability to create a dedicated video library for a specific subject. For example, I might want a library containing only the MIT Computer Science course videos. If you look into their youtube channel they have different libraries for different courses. Currently, I can subscribe to an entire YouTube channel using its RSS feed, but I'd like the option to organize videos into custom libraries and assign each library its own title. All highlights created from videos in that library would then be grouped under that title. Readwise Reader has (or at least had) a similar feature for organizing/playing content, and I found it very useful.

Fix: Add Tags from Podcasts in Highlights Review
After importing podcast snippets from Snipd, their tags appear correctly on the Source/Podcasts page but are missing when reviewing those same snippets in ‘Highlights Review’. Please ensure tags are visible during reviews so they match across both pages. Additionally, if a tag is added from ‘Highlights Review’, it should also sync and be visible on the Source/Podcasts page.

Improvement: Add 'Edit Source' Option to Podcasts
In the Books section, I can click the three vertical dots to access an 'Edit Source' option from the pop-up menu. However, this option is currently unavailable in the Podcasts section. Could you please add the 'Edit Source' feature to the Screvi Podcasts section? I have noticed that imported podcasts sometimes display incorrect information, and this feature will help to fix that issue.

Bug Report: Wrong Import of the Author from Snapd Podcasts
I imported a podcast episode from Snipd, and the metadata contains the following information: Show: Conversations with Tyler Owner / Host: Conversations with Tyler However, the imported information in Screvi displays ‘Mercatus Center at George Mason University.’ This information does not exist anywhere in the metadata of the imported .md file. I noticed that when I imported the same podcast episode previously, it displayed the correct information, but now it is pulling incorrect data.I imported a podcast episode from Snipd, and the metadata contains the following information: Show: Conversations with Tyl

Bug Report: Unable to edit Feedback title/content of the Post
When I attempt to edit a previously submitted feature request by clicking the "Edit title/content" option in the top right corner, I consistently receive an "Error updating post" message after clicking "Change content." I have attempted this multiple times over several days, but the issue persists.

Streaks Review
When I review highlights using "Custom Review" (for instance, highlights from a specific book) and then go to Reviews → Streaks to click on the day I completed the review, it displays different highlights than the ones I actually reviewed. In other words, my highlight review does not match the one shown under Reviews → Streaks → Calendar Date. This is very frustrating because if I find an interesting highlight that I want to read or share with someone, it is now lost.

Comment Support for RSS Feeds
This is a feature for power-users of RSS readers. It allows the user to access comment threads for feeds with comment APIs like Reddit, YouTube, and Hacker News. Possibly look at News Explorer for an example of very good implementation of this feature

Include Comments, Tags, and Positions to Export to Markdown File
I exported the highlights to Markdown and noticed that the resulting file only contains the highlights themselves. It does not include any of my comments, tags, or positions, which are very important. I believe this information should be included in the Markdown export, especially since it was initially provided there.

Add Podcasts to Philter Highlights
Podcasts is missing from the list of filter highlights. Please add it to the content type. Even though I was able to find and select podcast, and clicked on ‘Start Review’ button, I received an error from Screvi stating “No highlights found with the selected filters”. The issue seems related to the other issue I opened: when highlights are imported from the Snipd application, it's not importing the transcripts themselves, but only AI generated notes.

Add Podcast Link to Navigation Bar
Main area: And from left navigation bar: As you can see, the left navigation bar is missing the Podcast link. Second, could you please put the navigation bar in the same order as the sources in the main area? For instance, "Post" is the third one in the main area, but in the navigation bar, "Post" is number four. The order is not matching.

Import Snipd Snippets Issue
There is a big issue with importing Snipd snippets from the Snipd application. First of all, it's not importing the transcript itself, which is the most important part; it only imports AI-generated text, which does not represent the full transcript. Second, regarding tagging: it's not generating Screvi tags. It just puts the keyword tags I specified in Snipd at the top of the snippet, but they are not converted to Screvi tags. Even though importing highlights from Snipd is a great feature, it needs to be polished and made usable. Until the full transcript is imported, I don't think this feature can be considered working. This is how imported snippet looks like in Screvi and here is the information in MD file [04:47] Modern Cynicism Pretends To Be Maturity Tags: #philosophy 🎧 Play snip - 1min️ (03:19 - 04:47) Modern Cynicism Pretends To Be Maturity Modern cynics claim realism as maturity, using pessimism to feel intellectually superior instead of changing things. Sloterdijk says this posture masks avoidance: it defends feeling superior while skipping self-critique and real effort. 📚 Transcript Click to expand Stephen West And before we get into some of the less obvious forms it can take, it's definitely useful to look at the version of a cynic that you might run into on any given day. It's a person whose whole ethos, when it comes to world events, government, corporate world, love, relationships, whatever it is, their whole approach can be summed up by the mantra That they love to repeat to themselves, that things are really messed up out there. But hey, what can you really do about it? That's just the way the world is. Again, starting with the most visible example here, because it's kind of fun too. It's very possible in today's world, Slaughterdike thinks, to run into someone who uses cynicism as a kind of psychological defense mechanism in their own life. The idea is, I've looked out at the world around me, and unlike all these other people, I see through how compromised everything truly is. Once again, governments corrupted by power, corporations are greedy, doesn't really matter what the specific theory is. The point for the modern cynic is that the problems we're dealing with are so massive, and the system to even potentially fix them is so broken, that any of these morons out there that Are still trying to do things to make the world a better place, they're either uneducated about how bad it really is, naive about the impact their personal efforts can actually bring About. Mainly though, the big crime of most people in the eyes of a cynic is that they just aren't ready to be as realistic as I'm being that this is the way the world really works. It's in this way that cynicism in someone often pretends on the surface like it's a kind of maturity, like I'm the one willing to be the adult in the room, while the rest of you go around And cosplay like you're

Save Translated Tweets
It would be great if Screvi could save the translated version of a tweet instead of the original language. Since the latest Twitter update, when I save a translated tweet, Screvi stores it in its original language. Alternatively, it would be very helpful if Screvi could translate saved tweets or highlights after they are imported.

Podcast Playback Speed
Today, Screvi's podcast player can only play at 0.75, 1.0, 1.25, 1.5, and 2.0. In many cases, I listen at 0.9 or 1.1. Instead of having discrete options, I would strongly recommend allowing users to select whatever speed they would like with a 0.1 increment or decrement. That will make the listening experience much better.

Text Margin
Add a feature to increase the text size/width on the web-based application. Today, the text occupies only 1/3rd of the screen. It would be nice if we could control the margins or the text size. In many cases it's more difficult to read because it's too narrow.

RSS feeds as in Readwise
I would like to use screvi as news feeds app. Readwise allow you to remove news, manage feeds in folders, save it to see it later, save and so on. Screvi in this case is limited to that.
